Notification issues 12.2

Since updating my texts and iMessages and app notification sounds are full blast despite the fact my ringtone volume is set to 3 bars.

I’ve restarted my iPhone 6s multiple times, played with every setting I can think of, and I still can’t get this issue fixed.

Anyone else with this problem or have any suggestions?

I slid the “change with buttons” off so now I’ll wait and see.

To to be clear to all- my ringer is set to a low setting and notification (apps and texts) are at full volume. Obviously the slider bar and side buttons aren’t matching what I’ve selected. It’s only changing the ringer volume and not alerts.

If the Ringer is not changing with Alerts then I’m not sure what’s going on, I’ve always assumed those two where linked and turning off “Change with Buttons” then allowed the user to adjust other sounds like music independently of them, ie music via Buttons and Ringer/Alerts by the slide bar.

Try keeping the “Change with Buttons” off, then Force Restart the device, that might reset whatever is causing this issue.

If that doesn’t work the only other option you could try is “Reset All Settings”, that puts back to default all user settings, you will not loose data or content but you will have some reconfiguring such as the home screen.
