Notification sounds

Ever since I updated to 13.4.1 my notifications for text messages do not go off every time. I’ve tried restarting my phone I’ve tried turning to vibrate and turning back on. I’ve tried turning the volume up and down but it has not worked.

Alright. Some steps to troubleshoot found on the following Apple article are:

  1. If you have notifications turned on for an app but you're not receiving alerts, you might not have Banners selected. Go to Settings > Notifications, select the app, then select Banners.
  2. Make sure that you’re signed in to your Apple ID
  3. Make sure that Do Not Disturb is off
  4. If you’ve recently installed an app or restored from a backup, open the app to start getting notifications.

Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Additionally, try checking if you have muted specific conversations by pressing the (i) in it.

I am on 13.5.1 and I am experiencing the same problem. No notification sounds occurring on either iPhone or the iPad Nor the screen is lighting up when new notifications are received. This is happening across all apps, I have followed all the trouble shoot suggestions with no luck. This appears to be a bug within the latest update.

Are there any other suggestions

hi, after 1-1.5 week after update problem solved somehow by itself. i think my network provider updated their network firmware (MTS 41.0, was MTS 40.0) or local mobile modem firmware somehow here in Moscow, Russia! or probably apple noticed that their servers send a lot of stuff to phone and back and block it/reroute it....i still don't know exactly, i'm pain free for 2 days only with ring working. so it's 100% not a technical problem with your ring knob. apple support too was unable to help and advised to pay money for testing in local technical service here in Moscow....

so i think problem is in your mobile network operator!
