When are they going to fix the notification sounds not working? About a month after buying my new iPhone 11pro this summer, an “update” came out & my text notifications stopped working. After trying all the online “fixes” (such as disabling DND), consulting AppleCare multiple times, 3 complete phone wipes, and eventually (another) new phone, it’s still not working properly! Anyone else?

If your phone screen is locked and you have Apple watch on, your phone will not get a notification sound. Your watch will. If your phone is open, meaning it's in use, your phone will get a notification sound. This is by design. If by some odd chance you were getting notification sounds on both devices, even with the iPhone screen locked, things were not working as designed.

Yes, but it was working fine before the June/July update. I had been wearing the watch for over a month before any issues. The text tones sound occasionally (like when my phone is on the desk), but not always, and not when in my purse or pocket (as they did before).
When you don't get notifications, do you by any chance have Apple Watch strapped to your wrist?
