Loading extended keyboard on ipad
when I go to keyboards, I don’t see an option for adding US Extended keyboard. Where can I find that?

There is no ABC Extended keyboard (the new name for US Extended) for the screen. To input such characters you need to use an app like Unicode Pad or download a 3rd party keyboard (check GBoard or Keyman).
If you are using a hardware keyboard, then you can choose ABC Extended in the settings for Hardware Keyboard.
