iMac upgrade to SSD what capacity is possible?

My iMac has standard hard drive and it is tired. My i5 2.7GHz processor with 16GB RAM has life in it yet! Upgrading to SSD looks like a good option. I see my Late 2013 21.5 inch model could originally be purchased with 512GB SSD. Is that the limit or could I put a 1TB SSD in there now? Thanks

No limitation on the capacity. If you do execute this upgrade, please only use OWC (www.macsales.com) SSDs. Some other brands have had trouble and OWC specializes in Macs, they're SSDs work great, they can support you and their prices and service are excellent. Also, they have install videos you can use and complete kits as it's not a simple procedure. Below is the link that you can use:
