Why do songs become unavailable on Apple Music?

Hi all

Having some issues with Apple Music. I get the message "This song is not currently available in your country or region" when it's added to a playlist. However, searching for the song in Apple Music allows me to play it.

The playlist is fine on iTunes on MacOS, don't have any issues playing from there. I haven't changed region, but I have just re-subscribed to Apple Music after having about a year off from it.

Any ideas?

I was able to fix the problem by simply re-sycing. The question remains, why did the problem inject itself? All of my songs were either ripped from CDs that I own or purchased from Amazon, completely unaffiliated with Apple. How do they have the right to disable music from my library?

iTunes says the song that I wrote & recorded can’t be played in the region or country. That’s pretty messed up Apple.

How long does it take a company such as Apple, fix a “bug” within one of its’ moneymakers, if a company credo is customer satisfaction? If it is a “bug”, then let’s see how long it takes to fix it.

I would imagine it’s complicated but the only solution I’ve found is to occasionally return to Google Play to listen to some of my old purchases. It’ll work on one or the other.

Yeah no, still doesn’t work sadly. When I’m in edit mode it looks like it’s gonna work but once you exit edit mode from adding the “new” version it basically grays out again

My music is synced from my Mac onto my ipad.

Plays allright on my mac, not on my ipad, used to when it was itunes.
