Air Pods Second Generation - Burn sign on the charger

Guys, I want to share with you something that can be potentially very dangerous.

I swapped from first Gen to second Gen AirPods and after few charges I noticed some light grey spots on the charger.

I did not pay too much attention to that because I was thinking that was some dirt that I could remove easily later.

But, surprise.

I cannot wipe the spots away because this is not dirt.

It's a sign of overheating of the charger that gives this spots similar when you use a lighter close to a white plastic.

It was a sort of shocking for me and I would like to know if somebody else experience it.

Of course I am gonna return it to an official store and have those inspected.

I have attached pictures as well. Please let me know because it can be very dangerous..

It really is.

BUT! What I see from the photos you provided is that it's the first generation of AirPods.

The case of the second gen is different, it's on the right on the pic below
