Since updating to iOS 12.2, all gifs I send come across as small to the recipient. Low image setting is off, mms setting doesn’t effect it, I’ve reset network settings - nothing works. However, when on Wifi, the recipient receives the full size gif.
Worth noting, I’m on AT&T and the new 5Ge setting is active.
I have unlimited data and am not being throttled.

Thanks for the GIPHY response Dylan. Not sure about anyone else, but I have the same small GIF problem when using the built in "#images" button in the iMessage tray -- even from GIF's pulled from other sources than GIPHY.
I don't use GIPHY. I'm having this problem sending GIF's from all sources. copying from google image using safari, chrome. from IMGUR. saving gifs to my camera roll and sending from there. finding gif's inside the message app. This is still happening by the way.
^2nd what trash man says - it happens with all gifs from all sources, not just GIPHY. I went through Apple support yesterday and still have an open ticket with them on this... we went through a couple of attempted fixes that didn’t work and now they want me to erase the whole phone and start from scratch... which of course I’m not doing. This issue is soooooooo annoying!

I agree they should be getting the gifs as sent but they are not which is what is puzzling.
Hey Dylan - that’s great news! So just to confirm - delete GIPHY - re-install it - then shut down/restart? Or delete GIPHY - shut down/restart - then reinstall GIPHY? Thanks!
Thanks for the reply Dylan. That fix unfortunately did not work for me - so recipients are still receiving tiny gifs when I'm on cellular.
Issue is back for me as well - started again today so am out of suggestions at this point.
Same exact problem. iPhone XS Max, iMessages sent to other iOS users, GIFs appear small when on LTE (but normal over wifi). Low quality image mode turned off.
Pretty much same problem here. IPhone 8, recently updated to iOS 12.2 and the ATT 5Ge started showing up. Now my friends are ridiculing my tiny gifs. In Kansas City, MO.
Just bumping this again... Anyone find a resolution to this?

Same with mine. I have iPhone XS Max, 12.2, 5Ge and sends small pictures when not on wifi.
Exact same issue here. AT&T, new iOS, 5Ge, tried several of these fixes and no luck. Really disappointing that AT&T can’t figure this out.
