Chrome Will Not Quit On OSX Sierra

Google Chrome (updated) keeps reopening when I quit the app. Using Command-Q, Force-quit and even Force-quitting in the Activity Monitor. All steps fail and the app is constantly running...

I cannot trash the app and re-download because the open Chrome app prevents my machine from Shutdown/Restart (of course I can sign out of my Username/account on the Mac but when I restart, Chrome immediately starts up again)

Any ideas would be very much appreciated!

You might have adware/malware installed that is causing the problem. Try downloading this program which was written by Thomas R, a long time poster. The program will search for malware/adware The program will do the work for you which makes it easy. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After running the scans, restart the computer.
