iPhone X rim on stainless steel

just noticed this and im wondering if its normal, on my iphone x along the rim between the stainless steel and the glass theirs a rim on both sides that i can feel when i run my finger along it and can run my finger nail across, is this normal?

iPhone stainless steel scratches I’m aware the silver stainless steel on the pro lineups scratch super easily. Iv seen numerous people fix that by using a steel polish. It seems to work iv tired it too. However, I’m afraid if I do this too many times that it will damage my phone, because you are actually removing a thin layer of the metal every time you rub it on a surface.

Uneven Gap Between Glass and Chase I have had my iPhone 12 Pro for about 4 days now and I have noticed that the gap between the front glass and the steel rail is uneven. Meaning that there is a very tiny gap at the top-left corner but a very large gap at the bottom-right corner of the front glass. Similarly, there is a larger gap on the left side of the back glass than on the right side. Is this a manufacturing defect or is this normal? I also have concerns about water resistance.
