Evidently, Final Cut and QT7 won't be able to, but it appears, based on the reference below, that Compressor will. Can anyone confirm for certain?

In the next OS nothing will be able to convert legacy files. The files themselves will simply not be recognized and will appear with a not accessible icon. Any files must be converted in Mojave or earlier OS before being brought into the next OS.

QuickTime 7 will no longer work in the next OS.
There has never been a better reason for holding on to an older Mac.
I'm keeping one just for this and a few other things to keep backwards compatibility alive.
