How do I customize the charging screen? Apple Watch.

The generic screen when my Apple Watch is on charger is green time/date.

is there a way to change this?

Apple Watch Series 4, watchOS 5

You can not customize the screen. Your Watch is currently in Nightstand mode. More info can be found here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205045
