Facetime question - Disabling picture of me when Facetiming someone

Is there a way of disabling the little picture of myself when using Facetime?

When I'm speaking to someone else I really don't like seeing the video of me too!

Thanks

And that obviously defeats the objects of the service.

I don't know they can't just put a little X in the corner to turn the picture off if needs be.

When I talk to someone in my house or in the street, I'm not faced with having to see a picture of myself at the same time. So why do I have no choice in Facetime? Bizarre!

Maybe I'm just too old and for young people it's considered the 'norm'

Who knows? Who even cares?!
