Why when I drag an image from google into my keynote it pastes a link?
How can I fix this, so I can drag an image into my presentation?

That is because you didn't save the image first, and Keynote would assume that you copy and paste a link. First off, you had to save the image from Google, and then it would save it as an image. Then drag it to keynote, and then it becomes an image.
