I’m gonna buy a new iPhone and I was wondering if filling up storage on my iPhone will slow it down?
I plan on buying 256gb because I have a lot of music that takes up a lot of space but if it slows down my iPhone I don’t wanna do that
Your plan should work fine. However, music or any other data will expand to fill the space available (however big you buy) so it will need a little self discipline to manage it. I thought a 1Tbyte hard disk would be enough when everyone else at work is using 250Gbytes, but my technical manuals and photos proved I was wrong... :(
Haha, yeah you’re right thanks. I’m just worried that the phone will run slower if I take up a lot of space on it but maybe it won’t? That’s what I want to know... If the the storage has anything to do with the performance of the phone.
For example if a phone have used 200gb storage out of 256gb will that phone run slower than a phone with only 10gb used storage out of 256gb?
If you fill anything upto the brim it will be difficult to handle, isn't it?
I don’t plan to fully fill it only about 60-70%. I’m gonna buy a iPhone XS Max 256 gb and use about 170gb storage will that make it slower than if I would have nothing in the storage?? Thanks
