Anker PowerIQ 2.0 and iPhone

Unlike Qualcomm Quick Charge Anker PowerIQ 2.0 doesn't require a compatible CPU in the device being charged to do a quick charge. So conceivably it should be able to quick charge iPhones and Android phones just as quickly. I is limited to 18W though.. so compared to other 18W chargers. Though most phones are limited to max 18W anyways. And also only iPhone 8 and up support QuickCharge to begin with.

Question: has anyone had experience with experience comparing USB-C Power Delivery (PD) vs Anker PowerIQ 2.0 on a compatible iPhone? (8, 8+, XS, XS Max, XR etc)... do they have comparable charge times...?

I tested iPhone 8 Plus myself... not PowerIQ but, QC...

USB C PD Charger Quick Charge 3.0 Dual Port Wall Charger, Model: RP-PC108-Bla

Charges iPhone 8 Plus to 50% in 29mins, 80% in 53min, 90% in 1:10, 100% in 1:50 (slows down lots at end... fast up to about 80%)

Has a USB-C PD port and aUSB-A QC Port.. both rated at 18W, both support iPhone native 5V/3A... this seems like only factor that matters... there is nothing magical about Power Delivery or USB-C port that makes phone charger faster.. so no need to buy a USB-C to lightning cable regular...

Seems any charger with 18W, 5V/3A will fast charge iPhone 8 and newer...
