Fast charging with MFi 3rd party cables

Must you only use Apple OEM lightning to USB C cables with a power delivery enabled power adapter to have fast charging on an iPhone 11, or will a Mfi certified 3rd party lightning to usb c with the same adapter work as well?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you would like to use a MFi certified third-party USB-C lightning cable for fast charging.

Fast charging works when you use an Apple USB-C lightning cable and one of these adapters:

Apple 18W, 29W, 30W, 61W, 87W, or 96W USB-C Power Adapter
A comparable third-party USB-C power adapter that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD)
