convert table to text
I would like to convert a table to text. Older suggestions don't work in the newer Pages. Any suggestions? I tried paste and match style into a text box, no luck.

I need to further revise this post to accommodate Pages v8.0.
- Select every cell that you want to convert from table to text. Select the first cell, press and hold the shift key, then select the last, bottom-right cell. Press ⌘-C to copy the selected table cells to the clipboard.
- Insert a Text box, click inside it, and triple-click to light up the default placeholder text. Then, ⌘-V to paste the tab separated cell values into the Text box.
- Select the Text box contents, and now you can copy/paste them into the Document body, where the individual cells will appear in tab separated rows and columns.
- Remove the Text box.
