Facing issue pairing the Apple pencil 1st generation with the iPad 10.5 inch after upgrading the Software to 12.2

Hi,

I am facing an issue pairing the Apple pencil 1st generation with the iPad 10.5 inch after upgrading the Software to 12.2. Earlier the 11.4 was working fine.

I see the device is getting detected and a popup for Bluetooth pairing request comes up. When I select to pair then I see the pencil getting connected and immediately gets disconnected. Saying "Pairing Unsuccessful: Pairing took too long. Make sure "Apple Pencil" is turned on, in range, and is ready to pair."

I have tried the troubleshooting steps:

  1. Kept the Apple Pencil for charging more than 30 mins.
  2. Removed Apple Pencil from the paired bluetooth device list.
  3. Turned Off and On the bluetooth settings.
  4. Restarted the iPad.

Any help will be appreciated.
