how to add image behind video

does anyone know how to add a image behind video in imovie because im looking for help on how to do it

Hi,


Place your photo image in the timeline of a project. Place your video clip above it in the auxiliary time line. Click on the video to select it, and then overlay your video onto the image using the Picture in Picture feature. You do that by clicking on the overlay icon (the one that looks like overlapping squares) in the tool bar at the upper right hand side of your screen, and then clicking on Picture in Picture in the selection box. You video will appear in the preview screen overlayed onto the photo. Drag the corners of the video to adjust its size and position, leaving a margin so that the photo below will show through. Then click on the blue reset button on the upper right hand side of your screen to apply the overlay settings.
