When launching zoom.us it automatically changes the "default for calls" from FaceTime to itself. I have not found any settings to stop this, neither in zoom.us or in MacOS. Something in privacy that would allow or block such requests would be perfect, but right now I cannot find a way to stop this behavior other than changing it back to FaceTime every time after the app is launched.

Contacted the developer and I was running version 4.3.5 (as of 3 weeks ago) and they have fixed the problem with a recently released 4.4.2 version of their app. Apparently their tool has no auto-update mechanism.

Report the problem to the app's developers. Or stop using it and find something else.
Only thing I can think if ^ no idea if it'd work, would be to maybe lock this file or the equivalent in your OS...

I'll try reporting it... but it is what work uses... so don't have a choice there 🙁 but really makes me not want to use them at all.
