Cannot download configuration profile

Hi,

I have ProfileManager set on macOS Mojave. Also Apple Business Manager where the said mdm server is associated. I am adding a device via AppleConfigurator 2 to the ABM and reassign it to the mdm server. So far everything works and the device appears in both ABM and MDM. The problem is that when I start the device for the first time it detects that is managed remotely and wants to apply configurations no matter what I do I get the same error: The configuration for your iPhone could not be downloaded from (organisation name) cancelled.

i have tested this with several devices, new and old, all them restored via AppleConfigurator, but always get the same error. The devices all have internet connection, the mdm server is accessible, the show the correct time as the mdm server.

What am I doing wrong
