After a recent Windows update the Portable Devices disappeared from Device Manager, I can't synch my iPhone and can't manage my Icons on both the iPhone or my iPad. Please help me.

First, please let me thank you for trying to help me find a solution to the missing Portable Devises from the Device Manager on my Windows 10 software. Unfortunately I tried all the suggestions:

f your iOS device is not showing in iTunes for Windows try the following:

  1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager.
  2. Unlock your device and connect it to your computer with a USB cable.
  3. Locate Universal Serial Bus Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.
  4. It is also possible the device may show under Imaging Devices, Portable Devices, Other Devices, or as an MTB USB Device.

But the portable file doesn't exist in my device manager, I do not have any of the none of the items mentioned in 3&4. Isn't there a way to update the device manager for the missing portable devices driver?

Again thank you for your time I really appreciate it.
