routerlogin.net not working with safari

Hi i recently brought a Netgear D7000v2 wireless router and i can't login to it using the router login.net or 192.168.0.1 safari just takes me to the Netgear support page telling me I'm not connected to the internet. but I'm definitely connected to the internet.

any suggestions ?
