I’m listening to a music streaming service through the app on my iPad which is connected to a Bluetooth speaker. I am also using my iPad for other stuff and I hear any sound the other apps make over the speaker as well. For instance, I hear myself typing.
This is intolerable. How can I make so that I just hear the music?

Thank you rbrylawski! I did find that setting and I also turned the sound off on Candy Crush (😊), but I really need a global setting that will turn off all sound except when the music player is on.
There is no such global setting. You'll have to modify apps that distract from the listening experience.
Because it's too time consuming too have to find a way to turn each app off and then back on (because I prefer having the sound on normally, just not broadcast over the speaker).
