I suddenly have as popup window from Apple saying the "lldb" command requires the command line developer tools, and do I want to install the tools now. Then it asks if I want to install Xcode as well.
I have no idea what any of this means, or why I'm being asked this...

On zero evidence, I’d wonder if some buggy or debugging-enabled Electron app got invoked.
What that trigger might have been, you’re much closer to than we are.
Cancel out of the request (“not now”), and ignore it.
You might see another prompt for this again, or might not.
Something might break, or might not.
Many different apps can be installed on a Mac, and most Macs have very different combinations of apps installed.
Nobody here knows what you have installed, and what tools or extensions might be configured.
lldb is a tool that allows debugging an application program; of reviewing, tracing, and examining an app under test.
One of many different ways an application can be constructed is Electron. There are other ways.
I have no idea what you are talking about, that was my question, what is lldb? And what or how does an "Electron app get invoked"? I don't understand this terminology, thus have no idea what to do. Should I just click "Not Now"? Will that mean it'll still keep popping up, ad infinitum?
I wasn't using any app in particular, just browsing, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
Seems some software app is being built, usually on your behalf.
What tool or app were you using when this dialog popped up?
Why am I asked to install command line developer tools?
