MacBook Air shuts down randomly

I have a 2015 MacBook Air and I spilled a small amount of water on the keyboard about 4 days ago. Certain keys weren't working properly ("P" would come out as "p;") but that problem seems to be resolved. The only issue I'm having now is if I leave my computer idle sometimes it will shut down on its own. Any ideas what it could be? Could the water have caused a more serious issue?

You may need to consider the options within this support page and have the Mac checked for damages.
