search encrypt is redirecting my google searches

Have you tried checking in Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions and seeing if it is there and if it is deleting it?

Also, you could run run Etrecheck  It's a diagnostic tool that's very useful to us in finding problems. It will give us snapshot of your system and should identify the folders where this adware is installed. After it runs post the log file here. It will contain no personal information.

Check your Applications folder for any suspicious applications you don't recognize. Also check Safari/Preferences/Extensions for any unknown extensions. Also try going to Safari/Preferences/Privacy and remove all website data.

I downloaded malware bytes w help of apple support. Kept quarantining search encrypt and I kept deleting. Today it quarantined again and I deleted. Now I can’t get rid of SE at all. Have run repeated scans w no quarantine results. Now what??
