multiple iphones on same apple id my wife and two kids both have iphones. when the iphones were purchased they used my apple id to set up the phones. now all text messages(from all three phones) are being received to my wife's phone. I am not sure how to fix this. Any help is appreciated. cc

Texting issue iOS12 When will the iOS texting issue with phones that share the same Apple ID be fixed? When I text one family member, the text goes to all of the family members. Going into "Settings" then "messages" then "send & receive" to just have my phone number checked, as well as for each respective phone, does not work.

Android Dad, Apple Family How can I message my family? They iMessage each other. Sometimes my texts don't go through to the iphones. Wife=iPad, 2Kids=iPhoneX. Thanks, CPD

Hello,

Are you sharing an Apple ID? If so, don't do that, it is not recommended. Everyone should have their own Apple ID:

Create and start using an Apple ID

Family Sharing and Apple ID for your child
