Mail stuck in outbox

My outgoing mail has been stuck in my outbox for about 3 weeks. This is only true on my Mac Book Pro. Outgoing mail works fine on my iPhone and my iPad. I have checked the settings and all looks fine. I cannot figure out what to do.
