Called cineworld and they are aware of this issue and they said it shoud be resolved in 3 days

According to Apple is a security issue from Cineworld’s end with the QR code and passbook/ apple wallet connectivity. I emailed them myself yesterday, so assisting a response :-)
Unfortunately, it's still not working as of May 19th. Reading the thread, they can't even get away with saying it was 3 "working days". Having used to do the advertising for Cineworld, I can tell you they are not the most advanced when it comes to IT or anything digital tech based, so can see this dragging on....

I’m guessing you where hoping to get your Endgame ticket(s) in your wallet too. I’ve been doing this for years and it’s been very convienient, don’t even have to unlock the phone. Hope Cineworld fixes it soon. Till then you can still present your QR code via the email you should have received.
By the sounds of it, it's probably just a certificate issue. Apple tends to require developers to renew their certificates for different things every year. At least this is the case for push notifications for apps so maybe cineworld just haven't done this and therefore since the certificate is expired, Apple devices aren't accepting the wallet passes they are generating?
Its frustrating as it is such a handy feature, especially for your Apple watch as you can have your drinks and snacks in your hands with the QR code ready on your wrist :-). Fingers crossed they fix it soon.

Yes, this has started happening to me in within the last few weeks. What’s changed? Is it an iOS issue with blocking pop-ups or is it a Cineworld App issue?
1st world problem, but really annoying not having this working.
I haven’t been able to move tickets from Cineworld from email either last two weeks plus either. Does anyone know if this is an Apple issue or Cineworld issue so I can contact someone. None of the fixes suggested on google have worked. Thanks
Ive been having exactly same trouble since last weekend! Been using it for over a year and it worked. Until then. It’s so inconvenient. I had a call with Apple Support, they run their diagnostics and says it’s all good on their site, so it’s Cineworld fault...
I’ve emailed their customer service, so hopefully :-)
