Iryna,

after reading all your answers (checking coverage online included) or listening to the comments coming from my fellow friends in this Community, in my opinion that iPhone is a genuine Apple iPhone XR - A1984 (CDMA+GSM, made for US - Canada market) - Unlocked (not locked to any specific carrier) - 64GB - RED Edition, and these are the good news. (I also assume that that iPhone is working fine, without issues, right?).

Now the problem is: what can you do for that weird "i" on your device's rear panel (most likely caused by a wrong / defective printing process or by a defective case)?

Beyond cohabiting with that defect (that's easy, obviously), keeping in mind that you're living in a country where Apple Stores are not present (that's not your fault), but where, as correctly suggested by etresoft, there are some authorized resellers in Ukraine, I would:

make an appointment and explain your situation to the reseller that sold you that unit;

and/or

make an appointment and explain your situation to a different authorized reseller in your country, and see if they could help you about that.

Please, DO NOT forget to keep the proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) in a safe place so that you can provide it on request.

Good luck

Giulio

I am from Ukraine. There is no official apple store in Ukraine. There are shops that import them to Ukraine.

There do appear to be a number of Authorized Apple Resellers in Ukraine. I just searched for Kiev:

Go to https://locate.apple.com/findlocations and choose “Other Europe"

If you purchased from some other place, I’m afraid you’re on your own. Your phone could be stolen and/or remanufactured. It could also be a new phone with a random defect. Unfortunately, if you didn’t buy from an Authorized Apple Reseller, you may have trouble getting it serviced.

Whoops, you're right, it looks different, but I don't have an appropriate answer for you.

I've never seen a "real" XR red (only pictures online) so, being a fellow user like you, can't judge about it. I'm wondering if it is that way for certain / selected markets?

If you bought it at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider, I would ask them.

In the meantime, I'll try to investigate more deeply, and let you know if I find a correct answer.

Thanks and regards

Giulio
