What happened to wallet in settings?

Went to accept apple cash and it said go to settings to enable however the wallet is not listed in settings, yet the app is on my phone help. What happened to wallet in settings?

Hello again MrsRizz07,

Thanks for the update. Let's check a couple settings to ensure they're correct and not causing this issue.

Go to Settings > General > Language & Region > verify the correct region shows there. Apple Pay Cash requires "United States" to be region.

Change the language on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps > and verify that "Wallet" is allowed.

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

I know the phone is supported, and I am up-to-date on all my software updates. I have an iPhone X . I live in Florida the same state and same service provider as my son who sent me Apple Cash. When I click on the Apple Cash in the text message it says that I have to enable Apple Cash in order to claim it. When I press that button and it takes me to my settings the wallet is not showing up in my settings, therefore I can’t select it to setup Apple Cash. to add to my confusion, the Wallet app is on my phone (utilities folder)and I can access it and see all the cards I have loaded in there however it has disappeared from settings.

I’m so desperate I’ve actually asked Siri to enable Apple Cash in settings. And she says opening wallet in settings. When my Settings open there is no wallet. I know it was there sometime before. I know that it should show up in the lineup right beneath my iTunes, but it doesn’t

Thank you so much for your help. I feel pretty foolish, turns out the region that was selected was “American Samoa”, I have no idea. I’ve never changed it, it was setup correctly when I got it. Regardless I appreciate the help. Thanks again.
