How do I transfer games onto my new iPad without loosing progress

When you set up a new iPad from the backup of the old iPad, all of your app data and game progress should transfer to the new iPad.
The exception would be if the game stores its own saves on the server it will not transfer with the other data, but it should download the saved content when you log into the game for the first time on the new iPad.
