Hi. In Word for MAC 2011, you could highlight multiple lines and text in various places throughout a document. Now, in Office 365 - Word, it will not allow that feature. However, you can do it on a PC using the Control Shift buttons.
Is there a way to select multiple lines/text in office 365 word on a mac?

You are talking about selecting non-contiguous text segments, and that feature may have been lost in Office 2016/2019 for Mac versions of Word. If FoxFifth's suggestion does not work, then the feature is gone.
Select the first area of text then hold down the "command" key while selecting subsequent areas of text.
It still works with Office 365 and the current version of Word (16.24).
It works as it always had in Office 2016. Maybe Office 365 dropped it. Contact Microsoft.
