Is anyone having “no response” issues in HomeKit after the 12.2.1 tvOS update?

​Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I understand you're seeing "no response" when using HomeKit after a tvOS update.


Is this happening with a particular accessory? I recommend starting by making sure all accessories are powered on and charged.


As a next step, try restarting the Apple TV: How to restart your Apple TV. Then, power cycle your Wi-Fi router and/or modem and test it out.


If the issue persists, try deleting an accessory and then set it up again and see if this has cleared things up. Here's how, from the article titled Set up and use the Home app:


"Delete your home or remove accessories

To remove an accessory from the Home app:

  • On your iOS device: Press and hold an accessory, tap Settings, then scroll to the bottom and tap Remove Accessory.
  • On your Mac: Double-click an accessory, click Settings, then scroll down and click Remove Accessory."


If you see the same error after you try all of the steps above, that's when I recommend that you use this link to Contact Apple Support for further assistance.
