Delete a recurring event from iPhone Calendar

Hi there,

I've been invited to a recurring event, 10am every Monday - Friday, which I've accepted. It's annoying haven't it clog up my calendar though so I'd like to hide/delete it.

This was easy enough on my Macbook but it still shows on my iPhone Calendar app.

I've read various posts saying to open the app, click "Calendars" and then "Edit" but when I do that there is no edit option. Just "Add Calendar", "Show All" and "Done"

It would make sense if I click on one of the recurring events you could click hide or delete but there's no options for this. Just "Accept", "Maybe" and "Decline". Then other options for "Alert", "Show As" and "Travel Time". I don't want to decline the invite if possible as I still need to attend the event.

Thanks, hope someone can help!

Steve
