best option for imac GPU replacement

so currently have a iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2010) with a dead GPU was wondering what my options are for replacing it . found an ebay listing with this tittle "Apple iMac A1311 AIO GPU ATI Radeon HD 6750M 256MB - 2011" and was wondering if it were sufficient . If this doesnt work whats the lastest and greatest GPU i could use for this baby.

Depending on year and model of iMac, the GPU is a separate custom designed

card for each model and not interchangeable with any other model or worse is

soldered to the main logic board and can only be replaced by the same model

logic board.

The other issue with a 9 year old iMac may even be able to find components and in

many cases they are priced a premium.

Your time, money, and effort may be best spent by simply recycling the old iMac and

buying a new or refurbished iMac.

The short answer is yes.

The longer answer—and one I strongly suggest you consider—is that even if you are successful and the replacement GPU actually works, you will be rewarded with a Mac that is significantly outdated with little to no economic value.

I don't mean to discourage you. Do it if you enjoy working on things and are seeking nothing more than restoring an essentially dead Mac back to life.

The card itself is socketed. That will be the least of your tedium.

Edit: I searched for those listings. They're about $80. I wouldn't pay $80 for that Mac even if it worked. I would consider parting it out... which I surmise to be the source for those components.
