Apple Pencil 2: Connected but not working

Hello.

I ‘ve just bought an iPad Pro 11’’ and Apple Pencil 2.

After a few hours, where everything was working perfectly, the Pencil is fully connected and paired, but not working on iPad’s surface.

I see that your Apple Pencil (2nd generation) shows that it's paired with your 2018 iPad Pro, but nothing shows no the display when you try to use it. I'm happy to help.


Use Apple Pencil with your iPad or iPad Pro -- This article provides the information and steps that you need to get your Apple Pencil working. The steps specific to your issue are under "If your Apple Pencil won't pair with your iPad". First, unpair your Apple Pencil from your iPad Pro by following step 4. Then go back to step 1 and work your way through the section.
