Adding email account w/POP incoming and SMTP outgoing

You may need to force iOS to setup an account as POP if it can't do that automatically after selecting "Other" because although you enter details for POP iOS can still sometimes end up configuring things as IMAP.

The trick is to enter a non existent mail address (fake), for example all numbers or letters, when iOS can't proceed it then defaults to asking if you wish to setup an IMAP or POP account, you select POP.

This process is valid for all mails, AOL, Google, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, Exchange etc etc

1. Keep your email id and password handy
2. Use this link to find out your Incoming and Outgoing server settings by entering your email address
