i have my first generation ipad ,how would i retrive my photos and vidoes so i can veiw them on my newer ipad thats 2 years old ?

I have a first generation iPad is it possible to retrieve the photos so I can view them on my new iPad that is only two years old. The first generation iPad is not turned on and will not charge . Will the Sim card Jenner change. Or is there another way. Thank you for the help

If you backed up the first generation iPad, the photos should be in your iCloud backup. If you didn't backup and the iPad is dead, you can't retrieve the photos. Did you routinely back up your iPad to iCloud?

Also, did you ever back up that iPad to iTunes on a computer?

If not and that iPad is dead, now, then there is no way to get to those images any longer.
