Disable Apple Software Update popup

Hi,

I use Windows 7 and I installed iTunes software. Every week Apple Software Update Popup appears, even if I disabled the search of new updates (MAI means NEVER). How can I turn the popup off?

Apple Software Update is version 2.6.0.0. I remove the scheduled task on the Task Scheduler and the registry key too.

Regards,

Z.

It comes up as a scheduled task for me. I wonder if the task is damaged in the registry somehow such that it still runs, but the Task Scheduler UI cannot see it. This looks a little advanced but you could try: https://superuser.com/questions/1213206/delete-all-scheduled-tasks-with-registry-file.

I'd be tempted to start with a full tear down and rebuild as outlined in the second box of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates - Apple Community.
