After several attempts I have not been successful making a purchase. Please help.

Give Apple a Direct Call and ask to speak with an advisor on this. They’ll see what's going on with your account. It’s an automated answering service, so briefly say something to the effect of, “Purchases are unsuccessful.”
If sent to the incorrect service-type representative, the person who picked up the phone would know and offer you to forward your call.

After several attempts, I have been unsuccessful making a purchase thru apple.com/iTunes. Does anyone have a suggestion you might share.
