Ipod Nano products?

I currently have an Ipod Nano that is coming to the end of its life. Where is the Apple product line for Ipods outside of the Ipod touch? It would be a bad idea if they discontinued a line of smaller Ipods. If the Ipod Touch is the only option, then there is no longer a reason to not just use my android phone. I like the smaller ipods for working out, and didnt have a need to play game, take pictures...(do everything my android can do).

Any help? or am I now permanently moving away from Apple?
