Face id is intermittent

Randomly out of the blue the face id of Apple iPhone X stopped working after the iOS 12 update. Apple authorised service centre doesnt have any solution to this issue. Neither they are ready to service the phone to find a permanent solution. As listed in many threads in the community support page this issue is very pragmatic and couldnt be solved just by the software updates.
