How do you play cds on MacBook Pro MC975LL/A 9?

Just bought an Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch 2.3GHz Quad-core i7 (Retina, Mid 2012) MC975LL/A 9. How do I play CDs and DVDs? No slot or drive.

You can buy an external player and plug it in via USB port. I've used one for years. There are many to choose from - just make sure it says compatible with mac.

If you have another Mac or Windows PC, you can share the device on the other computer.
