About 5 years ago we purchased our first MacBook Pro and about 7 months later it crashed. We had many photos and videos saved to the iTunes, Cloud and iMovie on the computer. When we replaced it we used my iCloud login to set it up and tried to restore the photos etc from my husbands iCloud but we can't figure it out. He has his own User Account on the MacBook. How do I restore these photos & videos? HELP!

iCloud Photos was introduced in 2014 and it required that your photos be in the Photos app (not the older iPhotos app) and it also required that the option be turned on in your Mac. You can use any computer internet browser and log into www.icloud.com with the Apple ID that was used. Go to the Photos app there. If the photos are in fact there, you can sync them to the replacement Mac as described in Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support
Also note that iCloud is not a complete substitute for having a backup. I would highly recommend that you use Time Machine to backup to an external USB hard drive: Back up your Mac with Time Machine - Apple Support
