Browsing history
My iPhone used to save it’s browsing history I must’ve accidentally change something because it no longer well how do I change it back

Have you perhaps enabled private browsing mode?

There are two places to clear Safari history on your iPhone:
Settings>Safari>Clear history & Website data (it deletes eveything)
or
Safari>Bookmarks>Clock icon on the right (you can select what to delete)
Unfortunately there's no way to have your history back, if you accidentally tapped on those buttons, except restoring data from a very recent backup (keeping in mind that the restore from backup procedure overwrites all data on your iPhone).
