Verticale lines on my screen

Hi, I have a problem with my Macbook pro late 2013. On the left part of my screen are some vertical lines which are multiplying if I touch the screen. At the beginning, the lines were colored, but now they are black. The lines are not visible if I make a screenshot.

At this moment, the lines occupy only 5% of my screen, and I don't know if it would get worse.

Is there something that I can do? And why is this happening? If the display is the problem, how much does it cost to replace it?

You can Try resetting NVRAM/https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/

However not too hopeful here


It could be GPU, cable, cable connection, LCD/LED...


Your best bet is take it In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment. Go from there what your options will be.


Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"—
