Browse full screen in Preview

Got it. When I select all or multiple pics I can scroll through them in full screen. If I just select one pic in a folder I can't. You can send Apple feedback about the issue. Feedback - macOS - Apple

The screenshot you show is of you opening your images in QuickView, when in Full Screen mode use the left and right arrows on your keyboard to scroll through.

If you open your images in Preview (different app) and enter Full Screen mode you can then use the up and down arrows on your keyboard to scroll through.

Well both work perfectly well here, try harder. do you know the difference between Preview and QuickView.

QuickView is launched by selecting files and hitting the spacebar, use the left and right keyboard arrow keys to scroll.

Preview is an app in your Applications folder, if its icon is in the Dock you can open it from there, again select your images,

enter Full Screen mode ,and use the up and down keyboard arrows to scroll through.

I want to scroll through a folder in Finder with pix, seeing them full screen either in Preview or QuickView. Like a manual slide show but w/o any effects

To view a folder of images in full screen with Preview, select all the images in the folder, right control click on the selection, open with Preview, switch Preview to full screen. You can then use the arrow keys to navigate through the pictures.

Select the images you want to view in full screen.

To use Quicklook, you would press Space.

To use Quicklook in Full Screen, press OPTION-Space (or, since you come from Windows, "Alt"-Space).

Use the LEFT and RIGHT arrows to switch between images (not up or down).

Thats not right I can select images press spacebar, go to Full screen and move between images using the left and right arrow keys.

That is how I would expect things to work, but for some reason it is not working very consistently like this for me.

I just went and tried this again, did not work; then I tried a third time, and it did work...

I can browse any number of files in full screen. What are your image preferences set to in Preview?

You need to clarify what exactly you are trying to do. Preview and Quick Look are two different things.
